We object strongly to the proposed plans to demolish the period family home at 35 Maidstone Road to replace it with a sub-standard development of a fully unsuitable design and scale.
We want Bounds Green to remain an attractive residential area for families, and not a playground for developers who want to enrich themselves at the cost of the community.
the momentum behind this is honestly wild and it shows just how much everyone cares about our neighborhood. seeing so many people speak up against these plans really proves the developers cant just walk all over us.

Please don't destroy lovely character homes to replace them with modern and unsightly boxes. It ruins the character of the area and lowers all the surrounding property. This wouldn't be allowed in Muswell Hill and it shouldn't be allowed here.

Will the developers be forced to provide an out door area for play or fresh air or do they think the new occupants should just stay in their rabbit hutches and not bother anyone ?

I also strongly object to this house being demolished and replaced by ANOTHER block of flats. No increase in doctor surgeries, schools, shops so inevitable increase in traffic which has already ruined Warwick Road by making a side road into a main road with increased accidents and a danger to cross. Thoughtless!!!

This is a monstrous proposal, completely out of character with existing proporties. The existing house is part of the necessary propvision for larger families that Bounds Green needs, The placement of a rear car park wil destroy the tranquillity of nearby gardens and the underpass will be insecure.

I have lived in the area all of my 56 years and am deeply concerned about the destruction of our architecture and heritage. The house is a family home in beautiful Edwardian style. The proposal will put more parking pressure, demands on local schools and doctors.

Would it not be better to convert into flats as it a fairly big house then that way a lovely Edwardian house remains and it houses a few more people but I suppose it's all about making more money for the greedy developers
