Unsightly, corrupt, unwarranted.

This is yet another instance of builders - it is unclear that any architects are involved in this project - attempting to destroy what Reyner Banham (1922-1988), formerly a Professor at the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, described as the "texture" of an area. The texture of Bounds Green is residential with a preponderance of Victorian, Edwardian and 1930s properties. How then could anyone imagine that this faceless block could fit in?

There are a lot of flats already all around the North Circular.
This area is small, with small schools and health centres.
There is no need for regenerate the population, it is too crowded already.

Completely unacceptable in a street with character this will set a precedent and this cannot be allowed under any circumstances

This is yet another plan for our area which is totally out of keeping with everything around it. It would be madness to allow this plan to go ahead.

I strongly object to this. There is no need for a set of flats in this road. It's just money grabbing!

I strongly oppose this proposal. It is completely unnecessary and further example of the character and original buildings of the area being eroded!

Why are we in Bounds Green getting all the new flats to be built targetted at our area? We already have the North Circular Road lined with new flat developments all along from the Telford Road roundabout to Palmer's Green. Maidstone Road is one of the most attractive roads in our area and one that is used a lot by local people walking to the tube station and back. It's not fair that we should be landed with yet another eyesore that continues with the destruction of the character of our area and pulls it more and more downmarket. We've had our fair share already. Build these flats somewhere else. I've lived here for 25 years and I strongly object!

The last thing that is needed is another10 flats being built in what is already an overdeveloped area, where local resources / amenities are already overstretched. Furthermore, the size & scope of the proposed development is not in keeping with the local area. Why destroy a quality family home for the sake of a quick profit?

The proposed development is of poor quality and design and not sympathetic to the local area. I object to this proposal and request that planning permission is not granted. Haringey should encourage good quality family homes in keeping with the character of the area.

This is totally inappropriate proposal which is not suitable for the area due to unsuitable size and character.

The surrounding area needs to be considered, and the people who live in the area, not just the developers' bank account.

I do see the need for flats, but this does not work on this road. Totally out of keeping.

Please don't destroy lovely character homes to replace them with modern and unsightly boxes. It ruins the character of the area and lowers all the surrounding property. This wouldn't be allowed in Muswell Hill and it shouldn't be allowed here.
