As BNSF employees and retirees, we would like to express our support for the Antelope Butte Foundation's efforts to re-open the Antelope Butte Ski & Recreation Area. This family recreation facility is located conveniently to our community and we believe it will make this an even better place to live and recreate. It gives our families and children a safe place to learn mountain sports and to enjoy our natural resources. We agree with the organization’s mission “To provide affordable and accessible skiing and mountain recreation to all, especially youth and beginners” and that this effort speaks directly to the BNSF Foundation’s focus on youth and civic projects. We support the efforts to re-open Antelope Butte and make it available to us, improving our lives and lives of our families, and ask that the BNSF Foundation support this project in our community.
