There is a proposal by Stirlingshire Council, to install bollards outside Stuart's Deli - 'Pestle & Mortar' on Glasgow Road, Blanefield. These bollards would prevent parking outside the deli and Premier store; effectively risking the business at both shops and withdrawing the services and revenue they create within the community.
How often do we have the chance to enjoy a service where someone puts their heart and soul into their business, at the same time bringing vibrancy to a community?

been going to pestle & mortar for years. locals rely on this quick stop. council needs to think about the people who actually live here.
Ridiculous decision. We need these shops in the village. If they remove the parking they will lose all the passing trade. LEAVE IT ALONE.

This is going to kill the shops. Nobody is going to stop for a coffee if they have to walk half a mile. Bad idea by the council.
