Hello Everyone,
I am asking for help from all the parents of students that attend the Long Branch Districts. I am trying to get the Long Branch Board of Education and Long Branch Middle School Administrators to allow the girls and boys to wear black pants (shorts/skirts) like they do in the High School.
As you know many of our girls go through a very difficult change in the middle school. It would make it a lot easier for our children to be comfortable.
I will be meeting with the Administrators in the next few days and it would be great to show how much support we have from the parents. Pleas help this.....

My girls went thru the middle school and would have benefited having the choice to wear black pants on the days they got their periods as it would come unexpectedly and everyone would know they got it because it's so obvious on khakis and I would have to leave work to come take them home to change and go back to school. I am lucky I had an understanding boss at that time. Thank you
This is important issue that should be addressed , vote black pants call the board
The addition of black pants to the uniform would be an excellent choice
I wholeheartedly agree that the middle schoolers should have the option to wear black pants.
Not just middle school or high school all the grades . When you have a child that gives you attitude in the morning because she sees her older siblings wearing black and you cant thats a problem.
This policy change would not have any negative impact and it will only benefit our children

Please consider the black pants rule. Also, if the sports teams are selling expensive sports gear in the color black then students shouldn't be sent to ISS for wearing school gear that they paid a lot of money for.
