To have a condensed version of the Bill of Rights recited daily after the Pledge of Allegiance in the public schools of Carroll County, MD that reads: "I am an American. I have rights secured in the Constitution. Among these are the freedom of speech, and religion of my choice. I have the right to assemble in protest and to bear arms. I do not have to shelter a soldier. I may not be searched illegally and I may remain silent. I may have a lawyer and trial by jury, my bail will not be excessive. My rights are secured under the U.S. Constitution, authorized by We, the people." Signatures from Carroll County residents only. If you have a child that attends a Carroll County school please list next to your signature.

This is great. Schools spend all day on useless busy work but forget the basics of being an american. Let's get this done.

Kids today have no idea what these rights even are. About time we started teaching them to be proud of the constitution again. My daughter is at Westminster High.
