In response to the upcoming Williamsville South walkout, student organizers are planning a peaceful protest in support of the Second Amendment. We believe all students should be able to voice their opinions regardless of what those opinions are. This protest will allow students to encourage adults to find a solution to the issue of unsafe schools while still protecting our second amendment rights. A possible way of doing this would be allowing our district to hire armed veterans or law enforcement personnel with extensive training to ensure our school's safety. If you are in support of the Second Amendment and/or having armed personnel in school during school hours we encourage you to sign this petition. Please share this petition with fellow students, friends, and family.

I am truly humbled by the conversations this has started among students who I know care deeply about our school. It is clear that you all have a lot to say about how we keep our classrooms safe and I am simply grateful to provide a space for these ideas to be seen.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately and I never thought this would reach so many people. It is truly humbling to see that this idea resonates with so many of you who care about our school safety. This movement belongs to all of you who chose to step forward and speak your minds.

Finally someone is speaking sense. Armed security is the only way to keep our kids safe in these halls.
Totally agree. Stop blaming the constitution for sick people doing bad things. Protect our schools!!

Lets find out why this is happening, not just going after they tool used. Why are teens being prescribed so may antidepressants that alter their minds?
