Millions of Americans are beginning to wake up and realize they have been losing their

constitutional rights and freedoms as the federal government grows out of control and

infringes on our everyday activities. My daughter has gone to school here in Michigan up to

the eighth grade and it has come to my attention that she has never been taught about

the founding of our nation, the Constitution of the United States of America, or the

sacrifices made to preserve these freedoms. If our children grow up without knowing these

precious facts that make our nation what it is, then our nation as we know it will surely fall

within the next two generations, if not sooner. Therefore, we the people of the great

state of Michigan demand that..... Starting with the fifth grade and every year thereafter,

our children are taught American History including the events leading up to and the full

course and reasoning of the American Revolution for independence. We also demand our

children are taught the lessons of history from both world wars. Primarily the brutality and

evil events carried out by Adolph Hitler and the nazi regime including how this man was

able to rise to power and brainwash an entire nation. We demand that our children learn

these lessons from history so that they never take their freedom and liberty for granted

nor will they stand by idle while a dictitorial regime strips it away. We demand that our

children be given a sense of pride to be an American and understand their patriotic duties

to this great nation rather than be indoctrinated into a sense of globalization. We demand

that our educational system, having our children more hours in a day than some of us, take

responsibility and do their part in helping keep our nation great by giving our children a

sense of themselves and their heritage rather than focusing on politically correct

tolerance of everyone and everything unamerican while their own morals and beleifs are

systematically stripped away from them on your watch. We the people of Michigan demand

that the Pledge of Allegance be reinstated on a daily basis. " One Nation Under God" should

not be offensive to anyone, and if it is, they can choose not to say it. This nation

flourished under these principles for 230 years. We think that speaks for itself.
