This petition is for Sean Rey! He was struck by a car and ran over by another riding his bike to work one morning. The cars then fled the scene leaving him behind! If Phenix city had more bike paths for our riders, then this would have never happened! Please help get Phenix city more bike paths!

we are getting so many signatures right now but we need to break that 1000 mark to really get the citys attention. please send the link to a few people today so we can keep this momentum going for sean.

Please, please build bike paths in Phenix City. More and more people are riding bikes for pleasurable physical activity, as well as, exercise purposes. Think about it.... What if this was your child?

We have bike lanes and paths up here in cities throughout Ontario, Canada. This biking network combined with safe and well trained cyclists allows for motorized traffic and cycling tocoexist without creating more traffic congestion. It is a safe, economical and environmentally beneficial solution.

If we want Phenix City to continue to grow, then we need to make it more viable for people not from here. The mixture of cultures and backgrounds in the area with TSYS, AFLAC and Fort Benning lends itself to this type expansion.

I hope against hope that this tragedy will assist in progress in prevention and for the safety of all. I did not know Sean personally but it doesn't take personal knowledge to know that this should have never happened. For Sean.
