Better Traffic Signs Urgently Needed at Sparks Street North and Falls Avenue in Twin Falls, Idaho
This is a petition to address the incredibly high number of accidents that have occurred on the corner of Falls Avenue and Sparks Street North in Twin Falls, Idaho.
This intersection is in a residential area and a short distance from three local schools. Since I have lived in this area I have witnessed over two dozen serious injury crashes at this site. The small signs that mark the four way stop are not enough to address the danger.
I’m petitioning the City to address this issue.

I never imagined that so many neighbors shared my worry about the intersection at Sparks and Falls until I started reading your messages. It is clear that this is a community-wide concern and I am truly humbled by how many of you stepped forward to speak up about these dangerous roads. I am currently organizing these signatures to present them to the city council so they can finally see what we have been living with every day.

Twin Falls resident. My mom lives a few houses away from this intersection. I have seen the aftermath of several accidents at this location going to or from my mom’s house. This is a main crossing for many school kids from those 3 schools mentioned in the original post.
I lived on Sparks for years and this is such a dangerous area. Please put in a stoplight, this has got to stop. No one else needs to be hurt because the city does not want to change.
We were in that intersection every morning taking our son to school. It is dangerous and needs a stoplight !
I agree that there should be something more. If you don’t drive on that road often you’re not aware of the stop signs. One of many areas in twin falls that needs to be addressed.
My house is on the Corner. I watch every night cars justy fly right through like they don't even see the stop sign.
We need stoplights here!
Perhaps put in blinking light stop signs.
