"The residents of Karana Downs and Mount Crosby have had to put up with inadequate broadband for too long. Our community is only 25 KM's from the Brisbane CBD, yet we have very limited broadband service options available. ADSL connections are intermittent or not available at all, there are no longer subsidised satellite services, and wireless broadband is very expensive for very small data quotas. We have no hope that the NBN will solve these problems as our suburbs do not even appear on the roll out schedule.

It is time the Government and telecommunications companies such as Telstra, Optus and Vodafone respected the residents of Karana Downs and Mount Crosby and urgently resolve our broadband issues."
