The internet speeds and service offered by BELL in Constance and Buckhams Bay and surrounding areas, including Dunrobin, Fitzroy Harbour and most of West Carleton, Ontario, have been deteriorating in the past year. Many are paying high speed prices but are not even getting dial-up mbps.
BELL customer service is wrought with delays, incorrect information and no solutions.
We want to let Bell know that a vast majority of their customers here in Constance and Buckhams Bay and surrounding areas, are getting far less than they pay for and are tired of getting the run around. We understand that being a rural area, it is a bit more difficult to have the necessary infrastructure BUT we NEED to have a usable internet service.
We need BELL to make an asserted effort to resolve these problems and ensure that we can get at least 5 to 10 mbps on our high speed lines. As a rural area, we need our internet even more than city dwellers do, since we are removed from public WiFi, and we do a lot of business, shopping and socializing on the World Wide Web. We need to be able to access the internet to be able to participate in the digital world, without having to increase our data on our phones.
WE NEED BELL TO LISTEN!
We live on Torbolton and find the Bell service fluctuates. Sometimes it's at best ok, but as soon as the kids get home with their cell phones and laptops, forget it. Also, no way anyone can use the internet if someone in the house is using Netflix. Speeds grind to almost 0.
