As residents of Bath Riverside we welcome the initiatives of Riverside Community Voice to bring us all together and make the Riverside a better place to live.
We feel that there are very few places on the estate which are suitable for holding events such as bring-and-share picnics. But the two “Amenity Areas” (the gardens in the Palladian/Highgate/Imperial block and the Alexandra/Beatrice/Frederick/Leopold House block) are already set up with tables and seating and offer the necessary space.
We do not believe that quiet daytime events will cause unreasonable disturbance to nearby residents.
We therefore call upon the Landlord (Crest Nicholson Regeneration) to agree that the Amenity Areas may be used for occasional quiet, daytime events organised by Riverside Community Voice.

Great idea. Keep it quiet and clean and I dont see any problem at all.
DO IT. We need a community vibe here instead of just feeling like a building site.
Living here for two years and would love more chances to actually meet the neighbors. The gardens are perfect for this.
Yes please! It feels so empty here sometimes. A picnic would be great for the families.

Why not use the space for community stuff? Bit ridiculous that they are just sitting there empty all the time.
