i) Reducing the overall density of dwellings on the site to 35dph or less.
ii) Ensuring that the housing mix meets all the needs of the local community with more affordable family homes(3/4/5 bedroom houses with ALL bedrooms of a decent size) being built with gardens to redress the balance of Cromwell Road as a result of previous unsustainable development on the street.
iii) Green open spaces that are accessible and usable by all.
iv) A new pedestrian and safe cycle bridge over the railway line to link Romsey and Petersfield.
v) Change use of site from purely residential to mixed use - in order to accommodate local businesses, grass roots enterprises and community space.

The people at the council are hoping we just go away while they push through this cramped, greedy development. They ignore the reality of our neighborhood living conditions because they care more about hitting targets than building an actual community. We are not backing down until they rewrite these plans to include the space and infrastructure we deserve.

Ridiculous density. Keep it mixed use so we actually have shops and work nearby instead of just more concrete boxes.
We need that bridge! Getting across the tracks is impossible for my kids on bikes. Also sick of these tiny flats with no gardens. Build proper family homes for once.
