We are signing this petition to show opposition for the Proposed Development of a Multi-Use Facility, Single-Family Townhomes and Apartments located on Hwy 211, Freeman Johnson Road and Lec Stone Rd.
We strongly oppose and believe the addition of Stone Tract – a High Density Townhomes, Apartments and Multi-use facility will add no value to our surrounding communities. We oppose high density housing in our area and want to prevent the negative consequences an impact like this will have: it will increase traffic, lower our property values by setting a precedent for High Density housing, increase crime, and overpopulate our school cluster. Specifically:

too much traffic, too many accidents, schools over crowded. Suppose to be a single family area only. Hwy 211 and Hwy 124 needs work! Freeman Johnson is almost impossible to get out of now. Put some effort into the problems we already have instead of trying to add more in this area!
We live directly across from this on 211 we have had 27 wrecks at our driveway two people killed in July this does not count wrecks within a half mile of us but it seems nobody in county government wants to hear this or cares
Please reject this zoning. The current infrastructure cannot support the influx of additional new residents . We’ve been waiting years for a light or round a bout at hwy 211 and covered bridge and still nothing. No way is this county ready to deal with growth.
This is too large of a development. Barrow County is not equipped to maintain this growth. This is a rural county and the reason I live here is to avoid the mismanaged growth that Gwinnett County has. Please let's not make this beautiful county overgrown!
Left turns from Freeman Johnson and Hog Man Rds is already a nightmare. A project like this will exacerbate this problem. Also apartments will increase crime. Don't let Barrow become what Gwinnett has become. Pls deny this application or at a minimum deny apartments.
I am Nakib and I am against high density housing in our barrow county.

I moved to this county and area over 10 years ago to get away from this type of congested environment which is less safe and tends to decrease property values. Barrow promoted slow controlled family friendly growth. This is not in line with that.
