We all know how hectic and busy drop off and pick up can be with our children who go to Kadina memorial school. Today I come to you as a concerned parent I feel it is about time and long overdue for zebra crossings to be put at the school for the safety of our children. Today I come to you with a petition to sign to submit to our copper coast council to have at least two zebra crossings put in. Both running over Hallett Street on either side of Doswell Terrace. These are one of the most dangerous corners at school drop off and pick up times. We need to keep our kids safe there has already been an accident here we don't want any more to occur

I travel to Friends’ homes in Doswell Street regularly. The sight of children in KMS uniforms “braving” the traffic on Doswell Street and the junction of Doswell and Frances is almost heart stopping! How long before the tragic “inevitable” happens??? There are over 20 (some ridiculously useless) zebra crossings in the Kadina CBD. This is an absolute Must! Listen to the people, not the purse strings!
Also, to expand the 25 speed limit from the school to past the child care centre and down past the kindy. The roads get very busy at pick up time with families crossing along the roads

I agree to extend the 25km zone when children are present to include the kindergarten. I would prefer crossing monitors like Moonta school use so it helps the children when needed at peak times while not restricting traffic at other times.
