Final supporters
For the past year, members of the Baldwin City, Kansas, community have once again been working toward creating a plan for a new community center. So far, we have located property for the proposed center, developed a tentative design for the building, and looked at different ways to finance the project. With these giant steps in motion, now is the time for Baldwin City community members to weigh in on their support for this project.

Me, my husband and our 5 children would use this all the time! Baldwin would be promoting a healthier, more active community, provide something for kids to do and keep the community local for activities we'd normally seek outside of town. I foresee this greatly improving our community!
As an employee of BCRC, we struggle to find room for activities. Often turning away patrons with ideas for programs.
Would love a daycare facility as well. I'm a stay at home mom and it's difficult to work out with a little one under foot.
Our family is absolutely in favor of having a community center in Baldwin! We drive to Lawrence now for several things that are not available here. Especially the indoor pool and a larger gymnastics facility.
This is an absolutely the most wonderful Idea ever!!! Our little town is growing and a community center where there could be so many activities for everyone is awesome. I especially like the idea of the lap pool. But I think we will need more than 4 lanes. JMO. I hope this becomes a reality!

Baldwin needs a community center and the resources it could provide for our citizens. Let's be forward thinking and unafraid to put our tax money to a good use where so many of us would benefit.
