The Corporation of London has demanded that the Malay Food Stall, run by Azman Malik, must cease trading on the 19th November. Over 5 years Azman’s food has been enjoyed by thousands of people in Leadenhall Market; a historical market area rather than the shopping mall it now has become. There is enough room in the market for the stall and there is no direct competition. People do not eat in restaurants everyday and there is a need for this fast and healthy food within the market.
