I started this because I was worried about our classrooms and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you feel the same way. The messages you are sending me about your own experiences are keeping me focused while I gather more information to present to the board. This is entirely your movement and I am just doing my best to keep up with the momentum you have created.

I truly never imagined that so many of you would care about this policy as much as I do. This momentum belongs entirely to you and your dedication to our schools. I am just humbled to be a part of this movement.

Unacceptable. Keep them home until they are gone. Plain and simple.
Seriously?? As a working mom I dont have time to deal with a constant lice outbreak because the school cant be bothered to enforce the rules.
Total incompetence by the board. Just keep the kids home until they are 100% clear. Dont make the rest of us suffer because they want to change policy.
RIDICULOUS. Who wants their kid sitting next to a child with nits? It takes forever to get rid of those things once they start.
This is gross. My kids have worked so hard to stay lice free all year and we dont need this brought into the classroom. Keep the old rules.

Lice spread fast enough as it is. Why on earth would they make it easier for them to jump to other kids? Makes no sense.
