By signing this petition you are supporting and requesting to change the venue of the AUD graduation 2022; from the AUD campus (the C building) to World Trade Center.
I would like to outline a few logistical issues and major points that myself as well as other seniors have spoken out about. Such as:
- The AUD Parking lot will not be able to accommodate the sheer number of people in attendance.
- Limited spaces at the Knights arena.
- Our dear professors and mentors will not be able to attend.
- The seniors march that is meant to be held from the main gate to the arena will be done in the heat, which will be a concern for some students with health conditions that restrict them from being in the heat for an extended period of time.
- The venue is lackluster and will not hold the same grandeur the seniors would want to remember on the day of their parting from AUD.
- The students will feel unheard and their wants ignored if the venue is not changed which reflects poorly on the university and future word of mouth from graduating students.

THE MOMENTUM AROUND THIS VENUE CHANGE IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! IT PROVES WE ARE UNIFIED IN WANTING A GRADUATION THAT TRULY CELEBRATES OUR HARD WORK.

Dubai now is open and there is alot of places that we can have our graduation, instead of the university, i wish that we have it in a place that i can invite all my family and friends.
Hear our voices! We like AUD but we want to have a positive final vision of the university so we can spread the nice word about our beloved uni. Thanks for listening to our votes!
please listen to the students. we worked so hard for four years and just want a graduation that feels special and includes all our families.
its way too hot to be walking outside for the march. we need a proper indoor venue at the trade center where everyone can actually fit comfortably.
this change will allow us to invite more loved ones without having to worry about parking or social distancing, this will also allow our mentors and professors to be present on this special day.
We are requesting to please have our graduation in World Trade Center

Universities from the same level tend to host their commencements in venues such as WTCD, Expo 2020 & Dubai Opera! After 4 years of hard-work and perseverance and considering our university and it’s reputation, we deserve a proper prestigious venue.
