We demand to have the traditional commencement to be held at the larger, more spacious, unlimited, and less strict arena, The Allstate Arena. It’s still early enough from the dates of graduation to make this change. We work very hard and pay an excessive amount of money to get an education at DePaul and to be limited by location, prohibitions of bags and accessories, and limited seats for a once in a life time milestone in our lives, it’s utterly unfair. With these signatures, the class of 2018 unite and demand that our day be at the Allstate Arena.

I am currently drafting a formal letter to the administration outlining the specific grievances regarding ticket caps and bag policies. This document will be delivered to the registrar office once the final language is reviewed for clarity.

The administration is now aware of this petition and has requested a formal meeting to discuss our logistical concerns. I am finalizing a list of specific venue requirements to present to the university planning committee.

I am the first to graduate college and having to pick which 5 family members out between my divorced parents, step parents, and my 4 siblings is wildly unfair.
Students didn’t even want Wintrust it was forced on us and now it turns out the AD had a shady deal to get her sister money.
I’m tired of DePaul not giving me my money’s worth. I’m tired of paying for things that do not benefit me, or my peers.
Wintrust Area is way too small for the amount of students that are graduating. Please habe the graduation ceremony @ Allstate Arena. Thanks
Should be on the same place it has always been. At least there we don't have to worry about people sneaking 9mm in their bags...
