In 2005, Cobb Co DOT added to its SPLOST list a sidewalk on the west side of Atlanta Rd between Anderson Dr. and Cooper Lake Rd. This right of way gets used heavily by pedestrians as there is no crossing point of Atlanta Rd other than Cooper Lake Rd and Paces Ferry Rd. Design has begun and acquisition started, but the project was deferred and did not show up on the 2011 SPLOST list. This petition will be shared with Faye DiMassimo of Cobb County DOT.

Ridiculous that this has been put off for years. I see kids and people walking in the grass right next to heavy traffic every single morning. Fix it already.
