There are countless people in the Ben Hill area that walk to and from their homes alongside Stone Hogan Park, but unfortunately, there is no sidewalk available along the entire stretch of road. There is also an issue of inadequate lighting along Stone Road, and residents - especially children - do not have a safe path to walk on, and at times tread on the street. This is an unsafe situation, and it would be more beneficial to rectify this problem now, as opposed to a death/ injury inciting action. Please help in getting the word out that community support is needed for this Thursday at 10 a.m. A representative from Atlanta councilwoman Keisha Lance Bottoms office is working on an assessing the area. Mrs. Bottoms presides over District 11, which includes the Ben Hill Community.

 There is also a need to repave the roads and provide adequate lighting to the area for safety. It is unknown how long it will take to see results, as it takes funding and manpower to get things accomplished.
