Dear School Board, Please choose Plan B, As Town Center Parents, we want our kids to stay at PVA. Most kids already switched once from Ocean Palms to PVA. Another change of schools will be very disruptive.
We hit 250 signatures today. Post the link to your Facebook timeline and text three neighbors who still have kids at PVA. We need the board to see that this level of support is citywide.

Don’t cause more unnecessary upheaval in these kids lives. They have been through enough changes over the past year (covid distance learning) and it would be cruel to them pull them out of their current school where they are comfortable with the teachers, other students, and school protocols, to send them somewhere else. Enough is enough.

We are a family who has moved 6 times in 7 years as my husband has served in both Afghanistan and Iraq. We moved here to settle our kids and plant roots. To move their schools would be counter to what we’ve worked so hard toward to keep a more stable environment for them.

Carving Town Center Neighborhoods to go to the new school is not an efficient use of county resources given the additional fuel requirements for busses, not to mention the negative economic impact on families

Absolutely ridiculous. Plan A makes zero sense. Town Center WILL INDEED be moved again. There are other, much better options (Willowcove, Preserve apartments). Town Center is unique and some people only have a golf cart. This will create hardship for some families!

For all Nocatee Town Center homeowners this is a major consideration ...whether for their owns children or in the event of re-sale. We live in Town Center for the simplicity and convenience of life. Many of us passed up larger fancier homes for this reason.

We live closer to PVA than anyone in willow cove and there is no logical reason to move our children to the new school and allow willow cove to go to PVA. If anyone should move to the new school it should be willow cove as they are closer to the new school and we are closer to PVA.
