We are calling on the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to adopt an Antiques Arcade Policy, which is aimed to protect Portobello Road's world famous antiques market. In the Policy, we propose that, in future, all planning developments that involve changes to antiques arcades on Portobello Road are reviewed by elected Councillors, and not passed solely by Council officers under delegated powers.
