The undersigned residents of Frederick City or Frederick County object to the new regulations being proposed by the Frederick Liquor Control Board. These new regulations will make it more costly and difficult for downtown Frederick establishments to host quality entertainment ultimately detracting from the entertainment value of downtown Frederick.

Reaching this milestone feels like a heavy weight shifting off my shoulders even though the fight remains exhausting. People are finally listening to what we have to say about this neighborhood and that gives me enough fuel to keep going.

this is total overkill. the restaurants downtown are what make this city worth living in. leave the musicians alone!

Fredericks music scene is finally getting good. dont ruin it with more red tape. local bars rely on this stuff to bring people in on weeknights.

SO DUMB. downtown will be a ghost town if they keep adding rules for every little thing. let us have 2 minutes of fun.

i play in town all the time and this is gonna hurt every small venue. who is even pushing for this? seems like someone has too much time on their hands.

a badly written law. too general and could kill live music in frederick. especially open mic nights. show up and pressure these people to explain. venues should not have to jump through all these hoops. musicians stand to lose if we dont organize and speak our minds
