I have been reviewing the accounts shared in the comments regarding interactions with the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department. These reports confirm that the current situation at the Anthracite Newstand requires urgent official attention. I am currently preparing a formal letter to present these findings to the city leadership team.

This is ridiculous. Stop wasting time on people just trying to buy a paper and go after real criminals in this city.
UNFAIR. been going there for years and never seen an issue. leave the shop alone!!!

i grew up in wilkes-barre and this is getting out of hand. let folks live their lives.
