We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our fellow citizens to act now to stop animal abuse due to overpopulation. It is our belief that all pet owners should be compelled to spay and neuter their animals if they cannot afford to care for the offspring. Spay and neuter can cause the number of stray animals to go down, this can keep the amount of animals in the shelters down, too. When shelters become overpacked they have to euthanize the animals that are left. Help us change this and save an animal’s life by spaying/neutering them.

I believe that animal abuse needs to be put to a stop. It is a horrible crime and those who commit such terrible actions towards animals should be punished.
