I have officially requested a formal consultation process to review the wage reductions currently being imposed. Legal advisors are now examining the specific implementation of the single status agreement to determine our options for a potential challenge.

The volume of support has now reached a point where we can press for a formal meeting with council leadership. I am currently drafting a letter to outline our specific grievances regarding the wage reductions and the lack of consultation.

RECONSIDER NOW. NOT FAIR ON THE STAFF AT ALL.
Ridiculous cuts. How are we supposed to live on these new rates with bills going up every month?
My family is really struggling because of this decision. We were promised a fair deal and this is definitely not it.
total joke. they expect us to do the same amount of work for less pay. cant believe they got away with this
