To the Director General of Health
We the undersigned are Health Support Service workers. We provide support to clinicians who directly deliver health services to the Western Australian public. To take away our status as health service workers is to devalue the importance of our role in the provision of health services in Western Australia. It will also mean our salaries and benefits will be reduced for doing exactly the same jobs. That is not fair.
We ask you to recognise our work and its importance by maintaining our employment status as health service workers.

The Director General has stayed silent while we wait for clarity on our pay and benefits. Post this link on your Facebook page today so they know we are not backing down. Call your union rep this afternoon to demand they put this issue at the top of the agenda.

Why should we be treated differently to the support workers working at the hospital?
