To make this short, currently solid white vinyl fences are not allowed in the Homestead Development located in Vineyard, UT. The rule can be found in the Development Agreement signed in 2006. This includes developments like the Garden, the Maples, the Shores, the Elms, the Cottonwoods, the Meadows, etc. Some residents have been working to get the Development Agreement changed.

The issue was discussed at a Vineyard City Council Meeting and currently the Planning Commission is looking at possibly allowing white vinyl fences. They will be having a public hearing in a few weeks (TBA) where they will take public comments on the matter. It would be great if as many of you could be there as possible.

This petition is to give a voice to the many residents in the Homesteads that want a white vinyl fence (now or in the future), or are willing to allow others to put in a white vinyl fence. It also allows your voice to be heard if you are not able to attend the public hearing.
