This petition is to allow residents of Fort Belvoir to have permanent front screen storm doors. There are two options- 1. Housing will purchase said doors and install them. 2. Residents purchase said doors and maintenance will install said doors.
There are many benefits of allowing these types of doors.
Examples-
Having these doors will make the houses more appealing to incoming families.
Residents will benefit by having lower electricity in the warmer months
Having a screen front door will create a good air flow through the house.
Will be safer for families with dogs and small children
More appealing than temporary doors
Creates a barrier from insects coming inside
