Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the inequality and injustice which the

B.ED degree holders have faced in recruitment and can face in future also in the post of Primary

Teachers (For Class 1st to 5

th) for which the notification was released by Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) on 5th September 2019. DSSSB has not allowed included B.ED as an eligibility for the post as above mentioned in advertisement no 03/19.

National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) released a notification on 28th June 2018, in which They had allowed Bachelor of Education (B.ED) as an eligibility for the post of Primary Education

i.e.(1st to 5th) .It also stated that if B.ED degree holder candidate gets selected for the post of Primary Teacher they would have to undergo a bridge course of 6 Months from National Institute of Open

Schooling (NIOS) after selection.

Following the Notice of NCTE many changes were made throughout the country for allowing B.Ed as

eligibility for the post of Primary Teachers such as:

1). Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Tests

(CTET) in December 2018 and July 2019 CTET exams have allowed B.ED degree holders to apply for

paper 1 of CTET which is meant for eligibility of Primary Teachers.

2). Kendriya Vidhalayas Schools (KVS) also conducted recruitment for teachers including Primary

Teachers in present year, for which the notification was released in August 2018, included B.ED as an eligibility for the post of Primary Teachers.

So, It is a humble request from all B.Ed students to please save our future and allow us in upcoming recruitment in Delhi DSSSB. So that we can also complete the eligibility criteria and helps in providing a

quality education in Delhi Government Schools.
