Dear Sports Ministry/ PMO/AITA
This is really sad that inspite of so many written requests tweets and letters today again we see MEN playing under 16 Junior Davis Cup. This Age Fraud Circuit has become easy way for the athletes to get all benefits and focus from all. Deserving children are not getting anything and they land up in so much of struggle that they quit the game.
Why as a Nation a decision is not taken that any team representating INDIA in any International tournament should undergo physical tests of age verification and if found guilty they only not should be penalized but also banned from the sport.
We parents of tennis circuit strongly want a action against such players

It is wild how this started as just a frustration I had while sitting in the stands watching matches and now so many others are finally speaking up too.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam but here we are and it is wild to think about how many people actually care about fixing this broken system. It feels like the tide is finally turning against these players who keep stealing spots from the kids who are actually the right age so maybe now the authorities will finally open their eyes and pay attention.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at one hundred signatures which feels like a real step forward despite all the frustration with how these kids are being treated. If you have a second to message a few people who might care about keeping tennis fair it could really push us over that mark today because we need to show them we are not just going to drop this.

The selectors should be held responsible in such frauds. In today's age, it is not difficult to find the chronological age. Such players won't go very far in the game but the deserving players will not get the right opportunities when it matters most.
This practice has to be strictly monitored and punished. I've faced same problems whenever I take my son out to play. How can a boy of 15yrs compete an opponent who can be easily 18yrs but playing under 16. They are utterly shameless and we ultimately are helpless...
I am in favor of implementation of medical checkup for age confirmation as is being done in football now, and ensure that age cheating is eliminated and we instill honesty in our kids
Age old issue which plagued Indian Tennis for years, my brother and another student of mine lost out playing for India due to this age fraud issue. I hope there is a positive change atleast this time.. Hereby supporting the cause..
Age fraud is like a cancer to Indian Tennis. Please take action before it kills the sport. They say medical test is not that accurate it's margin is 10 months, but I see players cheating more than one year. So medical test will at least help prevent that.

Even I'm a victim of age fraud mostly in U-16 and U-18. Children older than me, having more facial hair and pretty broad frame than me played one category under me.
