The local planning authority has formally rejected the proposal for the development on Potton Road. This outcome is a direct result of the collective persistence shown by those who recognized the limitations of our local infrastructure. We should remain attentive to future zoning plans even as we appreciate this successful …

The residents of and around the town of Biggleswade object strongly to the residential development proposed within the planning application lodged with Central Bedfordshire CB/16/04658/FULL

I run a Business just of the new Potton Road, roundabout this road was always quiet until 7am in mornings, now traffic race along from 4.30am in morning, and in the evenings they leave the exit of the roundabout like a pin ball machine, speeds up to 50-60 are the norm.

SG18 0BY Building on agricultural land is foolish as the World may choose not to feed us in the future. Importing more and more food is not sustainable. We want to keep our wildlife and pleasant green environment. Biggleswade does not have the infrastructure to cope with more and more houses.

If these houses were being built for local youngsters to get a start on the housing ladder, I would not mind but these will be out of any first time buyer price range and only go to attract more people from Luton

The local infrastructure cannot continue to support such huge development. Schools, doctors surgeries and roads are at bursting point with the existing expansion. Postcode SG18 8SL

The town can't cope with any more houses. The doctors and dentist surgeries are full. The schools will struggle to accept anymore children. The roads are congested enough. This is valuable arable farmland that should be kept for farming.

There is not the infrastructure in the town in terms of school places, doctors, roads, rail services, parking to accommodate any more development. Especially as the town is already struggling & development already with permission is not even close to being finished in Kings Reach etc.

Not enough Dr's, schools, parking to support these new builds

The development of Biggleswade does not appear part of an overall strategy and pays absolutely no heed to the required services to support such development and consequently puts severe strain on existing provision.
