The National Art Advocacy March was held for the first time in Bermuda led by Artist Dany Pen on February 27, 2015. The march itself was to bring awareness
to Arts Education and to enforce the value and appreciation of the Arts.
When the Arts is appreciated by the larger community, the
Arts won't become a direct target for budget cuts. Scholarships,
bursaries and grants should be highly
funded and made available for students, practicing artists and art
charities.
By signing this petition, you are helping the Art Advocacy in campaigning for more funds to be allotted towards the arts. This petition will be used to show community sponsors how their $Dollar can contribute to the current community needs for the Arts.
This petition will advocate for funding to go towards:
- Art supplies for art educators and students
- Scholarships, grants and bursaries for students, art educators and practicing artists
- Funds for art programmes and art charities

Bermuda needs more color and creativity in the schools. Stop cutting the budget for things that actually let kids express themselves!
