ive been reading all the comments you guys are posting and it is so clear how much this event means to everyone. i am still trying to get a sit down with mr lambie to show him exactly how many of us rely on art in action each year.

im honestly blown away by how much momentum this has gained so quickly. seeing everyone rally together like this makes me feel way more confident that mr lambie is going to have to listen to us.

I took part as an artist this year for the first time, brilliant event and a shame it will not continue. I understand completely how large of commitment it must be on the organisation and volunteers, a full time job in itself, so why not scale it down or make it a once every two years event?
Art in Action is just about the number one fixture in the UK art calendar. With it's special support of non european art and thinking, it is a unique event - drawing together, and expanding the horizons of, participants from all over the UK..
One of my favourite annual events which I have been attending since I was 12. I know generations of families have been introduced to this event even generation inviting the next to a vast array of arts and craft practices. We need to keep this event going for future generations, please
This is not merely an art event, but such a cultural celebration, so refreshing amidst such world turmoil. I was inspired by the the philosophy behind the frescoes and loved the classical Indian dance. Where else could we go to enjoy such an amazing depiction of the Ramayana?
We have been coming to Art in Action for over 20 years - it is the start of our summer and has made artists of us all. I know ther are volunteers out there to keep this going, you just have to engage with them.
This is an amazing event, open to everyone with a talent or an interest in developing a talent. Where artists can share their skills, experiences and techniques to everyone. All to often access to art related events is too expensive or exclusive for the broad public. Art in Action cuts across that. Please listen to the footfall the even brings and realise that this is an event that must continue to run.
The summer will not be the same without AinA. Charge more for 2/3/4 day passes and spread the message about the amazing AinA more widely. It is the most wonderful event

Please don't let it stop! Just get a new ticketing system in place that can't be mis-used and charge a lot more for the workshops! They will still sell out and we would pay a lot more for them!
