Here's a petition to show our disapproval of Aberystwyth University's Hospitality Services' recent decision to move a member of staff from Pantycelyn Hall to IBERSBach cafe. Jackie is a very lovable and hard working member of staff and her departure would be a great loss for the community at Pantycelyn.

Aberystwyth University Hospitality Services thinks they can strip Pantycelyn of its heart without anyone noticing. The emails I keep receiving show just how much Jackie means to this community and how disgusted people are by this cold corporate maneuver. Do not think for a second that we are going to let them push her out quietly.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that the university cannot simply sweep our concerns under the rug. Management clearly underestimated how much this community values Jackie and we are not backing down until they reverse this insulting decision.

Jackie is literally the best person in the canteen. Everyone knows her and we love her so much. University management really dont have a clue what they are doing.

Can't believe they are doing this to her. She has been there forever and is always so kind to all the students. So unfair.
Jackie is an established an well-loved member of Pantycelyn's community and I remember her from my first year when I was living in the hall. She makes everybody feel welcome and her good nature is proverbial amongst the students. I strongly disagree with the University's decision as it disregards the wishes of the community.

Ridiculous decision. She makes my day every time I go for breakfast. Leave her alone!
