Hello fellow Witsies,
We've been informed that the Wits Human Resources department would like Gill (the most awesome administrator at Wits) to retire as she has reached retirement age and this is university policy. Judi has informed us that Gill would still like to stay with the department.
Most of us were very unhappy to hear about this and so we've decided to create a petition to demonstrate that we as students would like Gill to stay. There are also members within the department who will be writing to support her staying.
We would really appreciate it if you could take part in the petition to show your support for Gill.

She has been here for years and knows more than anyone else. Keep her on!
Gill is the only reason I passed that module honestly. She helps us with everything. Dont let her go.
Are you serious?? She is the best part of the department. This is such a dumb rule.
It's absolutely insane that they're asking Gill to retire. Does anyone have contact information for the people of the human resources who have requested this?
