Disabled passengers, the less abled and parents/carers with small children in pushchairs are having problems accessing the platform towards Bury since the closure of NatWest and the use of their car park.
Passengers now have to park in the new Metrolink car park and struggle up the hill towards the entrance and then down the slope to access the platform.
The proposed crossing point will allow access from the Metrolink car park to platform on the other side. (towards Bury)
This is urgent, as the ramp down by the side of the Nat West has been blocked off by huge concrete slabs, there is no access to the Bury side of the metro
