The residents who signed this petition below hold CCMC and the Anthem Board of Directors responsible for the resignation of Katherine and DEMAND that:

1. A special Community Meeting with CCMC management and HOA Board be held next week after Katherine’s celebration to explain to the residents what happened and what they are going to do about it. We want a free forum with candid answers to our questions and concerns.

2. An explanation as to why the BOD was not informed until September 29 of Katherine’s job concerns when both CCMC and the BOD representative were aware in July.

3. CCMC provide in writing what actions they plan to take to resolve the issue.

4.The BOD must demand that CCMC provide an HR executive to immediately investigate what issues exist in the current CCMC Anthem organization. We want a measurement of overall morale and possibly a 360 evaluation process to take place. We demand CCMC to report to the BOD and determine what other actions may be necessary to stabilize the situation.

5. We demand that CCMC draft a job description that would allow for the expansion of the Lifestyle Director role acceptable to BOD.

6. The BOD should immediately form a search committee to evaluate a replacement to CCMC.

7. The BOD demand that, in the event internal organizational issues are resolved, CCMC will attempt to rehire Katherine to work at Anthem in a senior position.

I was reminded by our board chair that Katherine works at the pleasure of CCMC but we need to remind the board chair that CCMC is engaged at the pleasure of our board. I hope to hear that the board responds responsibly and with urgency!!

Katherine has been responsive to our community needs and has added so much to enhance our community offerings. We are devastated that she feels she has not been supported by management and her only alternative is to resign. We deserve a better management group.

I read our Board's and CCMC's response this morning to Katherine's departure. Having experienced this turmoil personally 5 times in Arizona and Texas over the past twenty years, the only answer is to interview and hire a new management company, period.

A tremendous loss to our community. Katherine is Priceless! Not only to AR residents but also to CCMC. It's important to understand how this happened... we need honest, straight forward answers. Katherine is an asset that present and past residents have benefited from.

Katherine is the heart of Anthem Ranch. It is disheartening to see such a valued staff member leave, unless of course, we have nothing to offer her which would entice her to stay. This whole situation and the role of the BOD in personnel issues needs to be explored.

Katherine is a tremendous asset to this community. We have already lost too many staff members, and the support from staff is not what it was pre-Covid. We should not be trying to fill such a critical position in this challenging employment market.

Our senior management at the Lodge is responsible for this.

Katherine was a caring and effective leader of our community. Whenever I spoke with her, I always felt she was supportive and dedicated to the residents of our community. What more could you ask for?
