Show your support for all of the community concerns discussed at the May 8th township meeting regarding the Ryan Home Development Richmont Estates.

  • Environmental - Keep PRD zoning requirements
  • Landslides - Prevent landslide and water runoff problems
  • Traffic - Prevent overloading decaying roadway infrastructure
  • Safety - Fire safety concerns esp. with the town home sprinkler system

I am currently organizing the various environmental and safety concerns shared by residents to present them formally to the Board of Supervisors. The volume of feedback regarding the Richmont Estates project has been significant and underscores the necessity of protecting our local infrastructure.

The growth in interest regarding the Richmont Estates development shows that our community is fully committed to protecting the environment and public safety. This momentum provides a significant boost as we prepare to present these concerns to the Board of Supervisors.

They have asked for too many variances. These guidelines exist for a reason. Additionally the question of this being a bat habitat has not been answered. Nor has a traffic study been done at the intersection of 910.

Also traffic...trying to get out onto 910 is becoming more difficult with all the trucks from pitt ohio as it is, I dont want to think of how bad it will be if we add more people/cars.

I think the developers are asking for too many concessions: not planting enough trees back, moving houses closer to cram more in, and I don’t like there being town houses (fire hazards) and again too many people. They need to revise the plan for more green and less houses.
