As a resident and/or home owner of Las Palmas Phase I, I have reviewed the current proposal for up to 28 single story residential units on the 15.7 acre lot known as Parcel Q.
I support the current proposed residential development.
I am pleased that the developer is offering some on-site affordable housing along with a substantial in-lieu-contribution to leverage with other available funding as I recognize that the cost of living in Las Palmas (HOA, Sewer, Utilities, Transportation, etc.) makes affordable living challenging.
I recognize the significant effort that has been put forth by the developer to work with the exisisting community to reach a solution that works for the residents, the developer and the county.

I have been meeting with the developer to ensure they keep listening to our neighborhood concerns about Parcel Q. It is clear that our collective approval is forcing them to take our specific needs for affordable housing seriously.

Seeing this level of support confirms that our neighborhood truly values thoughtful development on Parcel Q. This groundswell of agreement proves that we are aligned in wanting a project that balances the needs of our community with necessary housing goals.

We’re interested in buying a new home on the beautiful land. We’ve been here on Country Park Rd. For 5.5 years, we love it here
Tara and I have owned 2 homes and lived in Las Palmas 1 and 2 since 2008. We are very familiar with this development with our current home (that we rent) bordering the proposed development. We are VERY serious about buying one of the proposed single family homes as our forever home. We love the plan and are excited to see it move through the planning process.
I totally support River View at Las Palmas. This project, fully compatible with the existing homes, brings much needed housing to our area.
As a 20-year resident of Las Palmas Phase 1, I support the proposal to build single family homes consistent with the Las Palmas neighborhood onto Parcel Q. It is the most natural and compatible use, and I look forward to its completion. Monterey County, as much of California, is in desperate need for additional housing units in whatever form they might take. Please move this project ahead as soon as possible.

I support Parcel Q. The developer has worked diligently to take the concerns of Las Palmas 1 residents into account. This development will help with the high cost of living currently associated with living in Las Palmas Phase I (HOA, Sewer, Utilities, Security, etc.). Please pass Parcel Q.
