It has recently come to our attention that the city's Planning and Development Services is preparing to submit a revised Comprehensive Plan to City Council for approval. Once again, the current draft of the plan includes a future extension of Pebble Creek Parkway to the south, with connectivity to Highway 6 and Southern Pointe. In addition, the plan includes an expansion of Pebble Creek Parkway to become four lanes. We want to stop these potential changes NOW!
Please sign this petition to let city staff and city council know that we object to the extension and expansion of Pebble Creek Parkway as it will affect the safety of our community and golfers, will lead to diminished property values, will increase crime and will lead to the loss of our neighborhood's integrity.

PLEASE STIP THIS NONSENSE!!! Unless, of course, the City of College Station and Brazos County are willing to reimburse every homeowner the 8-10% decline in their property value and/or reduce their property tax values by the same…
A Timelapse video of all the bicycles, walkers, joggers, runners and golf carts going to and from golf course as well as carts crossing Pebblecreek pkwy in various spots while playing the entire 18 holes would show just how wrong this expansion would be to our community.
This will quickly diminish the integrity of the neighborhood if implemented. Children, families and golfers that cross PCP regularly to get to pool, tennis and golf facilities will be at increased risk. We do not need or want to be an alternate route to Highway 6.
Opposed to PebbleCreekParkway being a considered as an option to to traffic from highway6, we live on Muirfield Vlg court…we have NO option to exit via another street… you will destroy our way of life and the value of our property.
I'm not sure the logic of the plan makes sense. We already have a connection to 6 by the school and taking a back loop to Southern Pointe to get on 6 south would almost certainly not be faster. I fail to see any benefit at all.
REMOVE THE EXTENSION and SAVE PEBBLE CREEK!!!

If the City of CS has to connect the racetrack subdivision, consider doing it on Lakeshore which crosses Fitch and goes to Midtown. The you are not going directly through a neighborhood and can control speed and access with traffic signals.
