The administration just backed down and confirmed that student elections will now be decided by a popular vote. You forced them to stop playing favorites and give the power back to the student body where it belongs. Keep watching them to make sure they stick to this new policy.

The FlintHill administration is still ignoring us because they think we will just roll over and accept their hand-picked president. We need to hit 250 signatures immediately to show them that this school belongs to the students not the board. Get this link to every person you know before we walk into the next meeting.

Everyone deserves a fair chance. Let the students decide. Do not shatter a student's dream. They will only be in High School for a very short time. Good luck guys!
I am shocked that these two students were removed from the ballot for the sole reason that they haven't had sufficient leadership experience in the past. Just because they haven't packed their resumes with leadership roles, this is not at all a reflection of whether they possess the qualities of a leader or not. I do happen to know these two students and can very well attest to several attributes they have that are well suited for a student body president. Ultimately it should be the students' choice who serves as their president, and Arnav and David undoubtedly deserve the chance to run.
While I like the current candidates for President, it isn't fair that the Teachers decides who should run for any leadership opportunity- not just the SCA. When people shut down others, telling them what they can or can't do, they are prohibiting the opportunity for great future leaders.
Let them run! STUDENT COUNCIL ASSOCIATION! it's not TEACHER COUNCIL ASSOCIATION
everybody deserves the right to run. a school government should be elected by the people (the student body) and not altered by administration.

Everyone should get a chance for leadership. Some people may come from a background of where they don't have the chance to become leaders and teachers can't base judgements off of that. That is why this is a much better method as we as students will choose and there are no hard feeling as only one person will be chosen out of the many.
