Students have been stripped of their rights to express what they love and what they support. The right to express their own beliefs! By not being able to wear hats in school, administration is stealing our self confidence. What we wear is an avenue to our individuality and this path is being blocked for no reason. Administration claims that hats hide prohibited items and distract learners, but let's keep it real. We reside in a great school which limits these issues, and there will ALWAYS be students who find away around them, hats or not hats. Stand with me. Vote for our rights; vote for hats.

I have been talking to classmates all week who are tired of the constant policing of our clothing. Send a screenshot of this petition to our principal today and tell them our individuality is not a distraction.

Honestly it's ridiculous that this is an issue and that we need a petition for it. I ALSO WANT TO BE ABLE TO WEAR TANK TOPS AGAIN.
i think hats should be allowed. they aren’t distracting at all. its some peoples security items too
Idk if it's stripping away you right to stand up for what you believe or whatever but I don't see what the big deal is about having them
We should have hats on school it’s a great way for students to describe what they like and some kids don’t like there hair and hats can cover that
I got my hats taken away several times last year and my hats weren’t going anything distracting and my teachers were okay with me wearing it, it was just the principals who had problems with it

I agree that it's unfair about not wearing hats at school, and the rule with the whole tank-tops one, too. I'll gladly sign this to help my friends who are still in high school:)

Allow the hats. "Hats hide prohibited items?" Come on; there's an entire backpack for those, if we're honest here. And, pockets. Hats are not distracting. For that matter, shoulders are not distracting either.
