We are asking for Mike to be reinstated to the South Forsyth senior class president ballot, because he was removed over a phone write-up from last year even though the War Eagle Way slide show said this year would be a clean slate and that write-ups from previous years would not be held against us.
That promise matters. Students should be able to trust the rules they are given, and they should not be punished this year for something that was supposed to be set aside. If the standard was announced as a clean slate, then it should be treated that way for everyone.
Leaving Mike off the ballot breaks that expectation and feels unfair to the students who were told their past would not follow them into this year. A student election should be about who the class wants to lead, not about changing the rules after the fact.
We believe Mike deserves the same chance as every other candidate to run for senior class president. Please restore him to the South Forsyth senior class president ballot and uphold the clean-slate promise that was made to students.

This policy has changed every year, it should not affect the future. One year we expect everyone to have a phone in class the next we decide to control when you can use it, not allowing young adults to pursue their future because of a ever changing phone rule is embarrassing. South you can do better!
michael was my main competitor and this election gave me a friendship i’m grateful for, i’ve been removed as well for the same reason
Past year transgressions does not apply to if candidates can run this year. Michael should be reinstated.
This is a great friend,a great man who should be able to be class president,the phone violation is supposed to be regardless

Mike is incredible and he would make a wonderful class president. One write-up from a year ago shouldn’t prevent the seniors from getting their president.
