Direct sales of electric vehicles (EVs) represent both an advancement in automotive technology and an opportunity for economic growth within Arkansas. We urge you to support and enact legislation that removes barriers to direct sales models for electric vehicles.

Direct sales will not only provide consumers with more choices but also spur innovation, enhance competition, and potentially lower costs. This model aligns with free-market principles by allowing manufacturers to sell directly to consumers without mandatory dealership intermediation.

We ask you to consider the potential benefits to the economy, the environment, and consumer satisfaction by supporting a policy that allows electric vehicle manufacturers to sell directly in Arkansas.

Your support can drive Arkansas forward, make us a leader in automotive innovation, and promote consumer choice.

The growth of this petition has reached a level that commands attention from legislative offices. I have begun drafting the formal request for a meeting with key committee members to discuss the economic benefits of direct sales in our state.

If people of Arkansas have easy local access to Ford, GM, Chrysler, Audi, Honda, Nissan, Kia, etc. cars, why not have the same access to a Tesla?

I have bought 3 teslas over the past 6 years and have had to drive to Memphis in order to make the transaction. Taking a day off work, driving and spending more money in order to obtain a vehicle does not help the Arkansas economy or citizen.

Restricting businesses from selling items regardless of the product is not capitalism. Let the consumer decide what they want...not the dealership lobbying group. Isn't this one reason we elected the officials we have in Washington?

It is absurd that any other vehicle manufacturer is allowed to sell and service their EV’s and yet one manufacturer is not even allowed a service center in a state where there has been a dramatic increase in Tesla ownership! I hope our legislators make this fair and equitable for all!

It's time to get rid of this unfair protectionist rule against direct sales. It would benefit many of us and should align perfectly with a state that is largely pro-business and conservative

With EVs proven public health benefits due to improving air quality it is the public's interest to allow the manufacturer of the world's best selling, highest US content and American made vehicles to sell and service within Arkansas.

Arkansas needs to open the doors to EV sales.
