MCCART LANDING HOMEOWNERS: FIGHT TO GET YOUR DUES LOWERED

Petition Purpose: Per Article 2, Section 2.3 of the McCart Landing Bylaws the purpose of this petition is to make the Board hold a special meeting about the 2012 dues and present a thoroughly review of the Association's financial status. We are requesting this meeting be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 5pm at the McCart Landing Clubhouse.

 ARE YOU CONCERNED WITH HOW YOUR MONEY IS BEING SPENT?

 ARE YOU AWARE OF THE SPENDING THAT OCCURRED IN 2011 THAT WAS NOT IN THE HOA BUDGET?

McCart Landing Homeowner,

Our 2012 dues are being raised after going down for 2011. In additon, the payment schedule has also been changed from every other month to each month (Feb, Mar, Apr). They are being raised despite the fact that we have additional homeowners and were able to collect a significant amount of unpaid dues from previous years. If we don’t do something now dues will continue to climb. The time has come to speak up and be heard! The spending by our current Board is out of control! Here are some examples of unwarranted expenses for 2011 (as of August 2011):

• $2,500 – To Paint the Clubhouse
• $1,371 – Blinds at Clubhouse & HOA laptop
• $1,200 Social Events (as of August…doesn’t include entire year)
• Over $2,900 has been spent in the legal battle with the Declarant
• $$ on DirecTV at Clubhouse
• Over budget on “supplies"
• Over budget on their” travel & meeting” expenses (a/o Aug. 2011)
