I have been spending my nights digging through old photos of the arena roof opening and thinking about what it would mean to see that silver dome retract one final time. Officials are still quiet but I am working to get the right people to sit down and listen to why this matters for our city's heritage.

My dad took me there when I was a kid. Such a huge part of pittsburgh history. Please do this!!!

The igloo is a legend. Seeing that roof open up back in the day was pure magic. We need to see it just one more time before they totally tear it down.
